✨ About The Role

- The Account Executive will be responsible for proactively prospecting new customers through various channels, including email, social media, and cold-calling. - They will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and SDRs to generate a robust sales pipeline. - The role involves fielding inbound leads to qualify and create qualified opportunities. - A solution selling approach will be used to help customers identify and address their business problems with Zilliz's value proposition. - The Account Executive will orchestrate and work with teams to provide an optimal customer experience. - They will leverage the MEDDIC sales methodology to manage the sales process effectively. - Engaging existing customers to drive product adoption and identify new growth strategies will be a key responsibility. - The role includes successfully negotiating and closing complex enterprise sales deals. - The Account Executive will be expected to consistently deliver an accurate ACV/TCV forecast.

- The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment. - They should possess a strong ability to persevere and recover quickly from setbacks, demonstrating a never-give-up attitude. - A passion for open-source and AI/ML products is essential for success in this role. - Candidates should have at least 5 years of total sales experience in SaaS/PaaS or Big Data companies. - Previous experience in an early-stage company is important, as is the ability to navigate within a fast-growing organization. - A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas is expected. - The candidate should have prior customer relationships with CIOs and executive decision-makers. - Experience selling complex enterprise deals with an ACV of $250K or more is required. - A high emotional intelligence (EQ) is necessary for effective collaboration with teammates and customers.
