- The Account Executive will be responsible for proactively prospecting new customers through various channels including email, social media, and cold-calling. - Collaboration with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) is essential to generate a robust sales pipeline. - The role involves using a solution selling approach to help customers identify and address their business challenges with Zilliz's offerings. - The candidate will engage with existing customers to drive product adoption and explore new growth strategies. - Successful negotiation and closing of complex enterprise sales deals will be a key responsibility. - The Account Executive will leverage the MEDDIC sales methodology to manage the sales process effectively. - The role requires consistent delivery of accurate annual contract value (ACV) and total contract value (TCV) forecasts.

- The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment. - A successful applicant will possess a strong passion for open-source and AI/ML products. - The candidate should have at least 5 years of sales experience in SaaS/PaaS or Big Data companies. - Previous experience in an early-stage company is essential, along with the ability to navigate within a fast-growing organization. - The individual must have a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and experience selling high-value deals to cloud or AI startups. - Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence are crucial for building relationships with customers and teammates. - A bachelor's degree is required for this position.
