- The Avionics Test Specialist I will oversee the build, integration, and checkouts of various Avionics test infrastructure.
- Responsibilities include supporting test technicians with the setup, operation, and teardown of functional test racks.
- The role involves creating and executing process and procurement plans to streamline build processes for test racks and interface boxes.
- Troubleshooting test systems and devices-under-test during component acceptance testing is a key responsibility.
- Regular maintenance and calibration of all test equipment will be required to ensure operational efficiency.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in building and integrating electronic systems.
- Proficiency in performing rework and repairs on wire harnesses is essential, including skills in cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and connectorization.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to work effectively with both internal and external teams.
- The candidate should be willing to work overtime and weekends as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
- Physical capability to lift 50lbs unassisted is required for this role.
