The Vice President, Ecommerce for Fanatics Collectibles will be responsible for delivering sales through commercially driven strategies, online marketing, merchandising, user experience, and site operations for

The Vice President is a true cross functional leader, and will oversee a team responsible for delivering against the strategy and executing day-to-day online operations relating to ecommerce with oversight responsibility for operating metrics and key performance drivers.
The Vice President will also work across various teams (Data, Tech, Operations) to create an online experience that is best in class and takes engagement to the next level by anticipating the needs and exceeding the expectations of the collector.
This leadership role will also interface with the product-related teams to understand upcoming product innovations and technologies so they may be thoughtfully integrated into the online launch processes as they are unveiled to the marketplace.
This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and will work closely with the rest of the Fanatics Collectibles executive leadership team.
Ecommerce Strategy, P&L Management
- Oversee total brand site P&L; achieve top line and bottom line results. Manage and optimize the advertising and promotions budget/spend for onsite marketing & promotional programs.
- Build ecommerce strategy for key shopping moments and key product moments and ensure all projects support the Commercial strategy and contribute to the brand site and other 3P sites we support.
- Responsible for developing and managing Customer Acquisition and Retention strategies.
- Execute product âlaunch/auctionâ put up and take down operations on relevant products.
- Empowering the team to test & learn by measuring program effectiveness, providing insights on how to optimize in future. Lead analysis of all programs and establish programs to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide post-program ROI analysis, make recommendations based on results to increase sales, opt-ins, AOS, AUS, repeat purchases, and other key metrics.
- Build, manage, and refine online assortment, promotions, price management and product/content story presentation. Lead team in executing vision from concept to launch.
- Maintain appropriate sell through and merchandising of limited life items, and forecasting of new product launches.
- Leverage excess inventory for promotional offerings to drive incremental sales.
Team Management/Leadership
- Hire, lead, coach, manage, a high performing and competitive cross functional team.
- Cultivate a strong sense of Customer centric site experience.
- Empower team to think outside the box, revolutionize e-commerce for the hobby and in service of the collector
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues from a range of disciplines including Marketing, Tech, Sales, Communications, Insights, Operations, Finance, etc.
Experience Needed
- 15+ years related experience in eCommerce
- BS/BA college degree required, MBA preferred
- Strong curiosity, interest, and intrigue for the trading cards industry
- Best in class leader that can inspire and motivate high performing teams to deliver strong results
- Proven track record in running a successful DTC ecommerce business with significant year over year growth in a highly competitive industry
- Must have strong skills in strategy and planning, budget and P&L management, merchandising and marketing, and vendor selection and management
- Demonstrate significant successes in B2C online marketing, campaign development and management, customer acquisition and retention
- Ability to translate offline commercial vision to the online channel with flawless and consistent execution
- Be comfortable in ambiguity/start up/lean ways of working in a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Candidate must have keen business acumen, advanced online customer analytical skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex or digital/social concepts to a non-digital audience
- Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and strong interpersonal skills
$230,000 - $275,000 a year
The salary range for this posting is $230,000 -Â $275,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
