Responsibilities:
- Work in small, multi-disciplinary teams to create elegant UIs and craft intuitive, human-centric flows and experiences on Web, iOS, and Android.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and visuals, delivering pixel-perfect mockups and design specs.
- Manage design projects through the entire product lifecycle, overseeing multiple launches simultaneously.
- Contribute significantly to design system development, including component design and style libraries.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering, and leadership to design and launch features, as well as iterate on existing ones.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in engineering implementation, and the ability to integrate into QA processes to ensure high quality execution
- Participate in regular design critiques and brainstorming sessions.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to develop and refine product requirements, create solutions, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in interface and user experience design
- Outstanding online portfolio that shows a broad range of design work from responsive web based applications, consumer experiences, and mobile devices
- Hands on experience visualizing experiences through flows, and prototypes at all levels of fidelity and overseeing the development and implementation process from start to finish
- Mastery of the latest design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, After Effects or Principle.
- Knowledge of design systems fundamentals, and experience maintaining, contributing, or building them
- Experience conducting customer research and usability tests and then turn these insights into beautifully designed products
- Proactive initiative that identifies problems and acts on opportunities to improve the product
- Ability to work both autonomously as well as within a team while managing and contributing to multiple projects concurrently
- Bonus: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Swift
$167,000 - $205,000 a year
The salary range for this position is $167,000- $205,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
