Responsible for the management of all HR Business partners along with other assigned HR staff for the division. Coordinates and/or oversees programs/projects assigned to the Business Partners. Consults with and advises management on legal and related personnel issues. Works with HR Directors/Sr. Management on special projects including acquisitions. May also provide support to senior management and their direct reports. Coordinates and/or oversees various personnel programs (e.g., wage and salary administration, employment, legal compliance, program development).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage, by providing direction and development to HR at this location, and develop the HR delivery as business continues to grow
- Strategic business partner to the Directors and Leadership team in day-to-day operations, and operations planning.
- Influence HR strategy and execute tactical direction for the facility within the overall HR strategy
- Ensure internal consistency of HR policies and procedures across locations
- Interact with the Corporate HR team for staffing, compensation and benefits, and other functional groups in order to support Operations
- Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures, laws and regulations, industry trends and developments to ensure accurate information is being communicated throughout the company
- Develop a work environment that demonstrates Fanatics core values
- Provide strategic direction on leadership development and workforce planning initiatives.
- Ensure integrity, maintenance, and confidentiality of all personnel records in accordance with policies and procedures and applicable Federal and State laws
- Improve HR service delivery in line with overall business performance expectations
- Look for ways to innovate systems for HR delivery (People, process & technology)
- Manage the HR function with measurable objectives, and communicate the bottom-line impact of HR delivery to the business
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Monitor and maintain personnel programs. Recommend and communicate program changes.
- Monitor legal developments to ensure that personnel programs and policies comply.
- Communicate program changes to field to ensure compliance with policies and/or laws by creating or modifying documentation or coordinating documentation activities with other departments (e.g., Communications).
- Plan projects by determining project scope, deadlines, and administrative resources and by assigning work to other personnel
- Perform administrative tasks in the areas of wage and salary, employment, legal compliance program development, and outsourcing acquisitions. Administer and interpret company employment policies and programs.
- Administer wage and salary programs. Write job descriptions by conducting job analysis interviews with appropriate personnel, defining tasks, deriving job requirements and qualifications, developing performance dimensions and assigning job codes.
- Prepare and conduct training and employment development activities for employee relations, personnel components of management training, performance evaluation and other topics by researching various laws and policies, developing course objectives and content and developing appropriate materials.
- Monitor actual employment transactions (e.g. terminations, hires, promotions) and factor analysis goals by comparing job openings and selection rates to applicant/protected group availability and goals and by recommending strategies for minimizing or eliminating under-utilizations.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Knowledge of personnel administration procedures
- Knowledge of information sources required to respond to questions concerning personnel administration
- Knowledge of EEO and related employment/labor laws affecting the work place
- Knowledge of job analysis techniques and job description development
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Knowledge of various statistical techniques (e.g. regression, correlation, descriptive, etc.)
- Skilled in leading, supervising, and managing effectively under pressure
- Skilled in working with employee issues
- Ability to lead under pressure
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to objectively evaluate information gathered
- Ability to supply or gather information concisely without loss of detail
- Ability to compile and prepare reports
