Fanatics accelerated its international growth plans in Latin American with the acquisition of Fexpro. Fexpro is a preferred licensee for several major US sports leagues, international clubs, and sportswear brands and provides additional capabilities in product design, manufacturing, sales, and distribution. We operate from Mexico to Argentina, except Brazil with offices in Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, and Chile.
Fexpro is looking for a Human Resources Manager to run the daily functions of the HR Department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering benefit programs, ensuring compliance, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and experience required for openings; Prepares contracts and job offers.
- Implements new hire orientation and coordinates onboarding activities for new employees.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations in each country, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develops programs for professional development and training for career development, continuing education, anti-harassment training and company values.
- Responsible for maintaining employee records including compensation and employee data and compliance records in keeping with applicable privacy standards.
- Drive the continual development of HR programs such as retention, compensation, benefits, talent management, succession planning and learning & development.
- Manages performance and talent management programs including administering probationary and annual performance evaluations.
- Drives employee engagement activities including employee recognition and morale programs.
- Provides HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations issues, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business or related field, preferred.
- At least 5 years of human resource experience required, with a minimum of 3 years in a generalist capacity advising and influencing business partners globally .
- Ability to work autonomously but also collaborate effectively with international colleagues in an organization that values transparency, accountability, and democratic decision making.
- Ability to influence peers and leaders across the company to drive the right outcomes; strong and proven influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural differences and communication nuances with indigenous and ethnic communities and with individuals from rural and remote forest areas, is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and prioritize tasks to manage and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Willing and able to travel for work throughout Central and South America, including to Panama, Chile, Mexico, El Salvador. A current travel visa to the United States is a plus.
