As our F,P&A leader, you will be a key partner to Fanatics Live and Marketplace businesses’Senior Leadership team by leveraging your deep understanding of the Fanatics Live and Marketplace businesses to drive and influence strategic and business decisions. You will build strong financial models and a metrics set that will:
Challenge, inform and support business leaders in making decisions.
Identify and provide context to key business metrics that will drive business actions and strategic direction.
Develop and lead our annual budget and long-range planning processes.
Your role will require extensive collaboration with leaders across the Fanatics Live and Marketplace businesses to ensure that all aspects of the business are incorporated into financial forecasting and analysis. Additionally, you will be a key liaison to the Fanatics Collectibles finance team to ensure seamless and ongoing communication about our business.
Responsibilities
- You will build and maintain insightful financial models that will enable effective and repeatable budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to be able to report on Fanatics Live and Marketplace businesses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- By partnering effectively with accounting, functional business leaders and the Fanatics Live and Marketplace Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will build accurate and insightful financial models that will identify and instigate discussions on key business decisions.
- Strategic and thought partnership for the Fanatics Live and Marketplace businesses, including planning, analytics, headcount management, business case development, modeling, etc. to drive operational efficiency and streamlined processes.
- Your KPI metrics dashboard and deep analytical skills will capture and exploit the most important metrics of the business. You will proactively identify areas of opportunity and concern where you will be in a position to recommend a business action to exploit or mitigate an issue.
- Leverage your breadth of exposure to business leaders and your usage of data to identify and operationalize business process improvements as well as strengthen our financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and general FP&A processes.
- Compelling business presentations will convey financial and business insights and recommendations to SLT and other stakeholders.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with internal and external policies (e.g., financial and tax-related regulations), including monitor forecast accuracy, understand drivers of variances, and provide insightful commentary & analysis for both current period and future periods.
- Provide input on the build out and improvement of Fanatics Collectibles’ technical and process infrastructure to ensure enablement of financial reporting, management, and tracking (i.e., ERP system and similar).
Qualifications
- 8+ years of financial and business experience in fast-growing technology companies with demonstrated career growth and momentum in influencing businesses.
- Proven experience leading F,P&A in a fast-growing technology organization with multiple constituents that relied on your work.
- Methodical and process oriented to be able to build strong and repeatable business processes that can scale as the business grows.
- Passion and interest to influence important business decisions with data-driven insights and the confidence to drive recommendations based on your deep knowledge of the business.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with the intent on enabling and empowering business leaders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
$175,000 - $217,000 a year
The salary range for this position is $175,000- $217,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
