- The Data Science Lead, Growth will define and build data assets, including KPI definitions and dashboards, to measure the performance of AI-powered products.
- This role involves identifying opportunities to improve KPIs and influencing cross-functional teams to implement changes in their roadmaps.
- The candidate will create and maintain quantitative frameworks and methodologies to enhance experiment analyses and user growth insights.
- The role requires close collaboration with product management, engineering, and customer success teams to enhance user interactions and experiences.
- The Data Science Lead will also partner with Customer Success Management teams to understand customer behaviors and needs at scale.
- The position includes responsibilities as a directly responsible individual (DRI) for initiatives and interfacing with executive leadership to communicate findings.
- The candidate will tech-lead other growth data scientists and may evolve into a tech-lead manager role based on performance.

- The ideal candidate has a strong educational background in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree.
- A minimum of 8 years of industry experience as a data scientist is required, with 6 years for those holding a PhD.
- The candidate should possess strong business acumen and be adept at defining product KPIs and metrics, as well as analyzing raw data for strategic insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern data stack tools, such as dbt for ETL/ELT processes, is essential.
- The successful candidate will have experience in statistical modeling and A/B testing, applying these skills to drive tangible product improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective technical documentation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
