- The Account Executive will develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities within the Local Government territory.
- This role involves performing account planning for assigned accounts and coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- The Account Executive will initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects.
- Maintaining accurate and timely customer/prospect pipeline and service forecast data is a critical responsibility.
- The role is focused on driving new customer growth and ensuring customer satisfaction from day one and beyond.

- The ideal candidate will have approximately 8+ years of experience in selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions, particularly in ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics.
- A successful candidate will have a proven track record of negotiating deals with C-level executives and closing opportunities effectively.
- The candidate should be adept at engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within their assigned territory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for articulating Workday's value propositions to potential clients.
- The candidate should possess a deep understanding of the Local Government industry's strategic competitive landscape and stay updated on trends and customer needs.
